LLM's can help us in our homework, but it can also write our essays, solve problems... except that they often mislead us. As high schools students, we think that AI should be better regulated in class. We believe in a world where AI would be used more responsibly. This can be made possible if both students and teachers are trained probably, and if the rules are clear.

In this episode of "Smartest tomorrow", we suggest that AI is reshaping our world, especially in education. We are at the forefront of these changes, and we witness everyday the damages they can create.

So we want to act, together with the European law, and propose 3 different types of regulations to tackle ethical and health problems.

1) A mandatory 5seconds message for all Chatboxes to warn that it is not a real person

2) An ID verification to limit the use for les than 12 year olds

3) an AI jammer available to all teachers for evaluations

AI : a friend or an enemy of our brain?

Today we are forced to do with AI. So let's face it : is AI our best learning support, or is it capable of making us more lazy and less skillful?

In this podcast, we explore the pros and cons of the use of AI at school. The AI European AI already proposes a legal framework for it. But if we were in charge, here is what we would do.

Shaping our AI future

To us, the use of AI to cheat in exams by some students sparks a high feeling of injustice. AI-generated papers discredit other pupils' own work when they are better rated.

We know that AI is a revolutionary tool but we want to make sure it results in a more equal world. That's why we want to have our say, and to imagine a world in which :

1° An Education-approved AI program is allowed for pupils, but it would only provide suggestions of answers, without writing an entire essay.

2° Pupils would be limited to 3 questions a day maximum

3° teachers would follow a training program to teach pupils how to use it in a smarter way, and reduce inequalities between pupils who are not all aware of AI's opportunities and threats.

AI : a double edged tool in education

AI represents many threats for us. First of all, it can make us lose our cognitive abilities, by not developing them through intensive use of AI. Secondly, we fear that it can replace teachers, and we would lose the passion they share with us. Finally, AI is not a reliable tool, and we are more vulnerable than adults to manipulation.

That's why we have 3 propositions to improve the AI act, which already tries to manage AI-linked risks.

1° It should be mandatory to keep human teachers in every classroom

2° An Education-labelled AI should be developed with specific features like age check and reliable information.

3° An AI training program for teachers and pupils should be developed
